Ben Pundole is an entrepreneur, hotel manager, and editor-in-chief for the online travel magazine AHotelLife.com. Pundole has been involved in the startup and development of many hotels and hotel chains, including Edition Hotels, Morgans Hotel Group, Ruschmeyers, Surf Lodge, and King & Grove.

Dr. Tara Stoinski

President of The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund

Dr. Tara Stoinski serves as President and CEO and Chief Scientific Officer for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Prior to taking on the CEO role in 2014, she worked with the Fossey Fund for 13 years in a scientific capacity. Tara has studied gorillas for more than two decades and is the author of over 100 scientific publications.

Eugene Mutangana

Head of Conservation at the Rwanda Development Board

Eugene he has vast tourism and conservation experience where tourism and conservation played a key role in boosting the socio-economic development of Rwanda. He has also worked at Volcanoes National Park as a tourism warden, a home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Geordie Mackay-Lewis

Geordie served as a Captain in a British Army reconnaissance regiment, deploying twice to Afghanistan before running a series of businesses across Europe. Prior to founding PELORUS he spent a number of years as MD of a high-end adventure travel company. Geordie is a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society.

Janice is a multi-awarded, sustainable business expert with 15+yrs experience working in multinational blue-chip companies and the think tank World Resources Institute. She is an international expert in developing and implementing sustainability strategy, communications and reporting, and green finance.

Jimmy Carroll

Jimmy served as a Captain in a British Army reconnaissance regiment, with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon leaving he was appointed expedition manager for Xtreme Everest 2. Prior to co-founding PELORUS, Jimmy worked as head of marketing and communications for the design studio Winch Design.

As the founder of Bouteco, she works with award-winning luxury brands to amplify their sustainability messaging.

As the Colombian-American founder of El Camino Travel, an immersive group travel company, Katalina never meant to get into the travel industry. A quick conversation (about drug cartels) with a taxi driver in Guatemala dramatically changed the course of her life and veered her from international development to hospitality and tourism.
