Tranquilo Bay

Rainforest adventure awaits

Adjacent to Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park sits Tranquilo Bay, an adventure eco-lodge. With a range of excursions on offer here, this resort has truly earned its title. Choosing from island hopping to hiking, snorkeling to kayaking, and surfing to wildlife tours, there is something here for everyone. With abundant wildlife all around, expect to see sloths, a multitude of birds, spotted eagle rays, white-faced capuchins, rare tropical insects, iguanas and everyone’s favorite ocean dwellers – dolphins.

Tranquilo Bay is situated on Bastimentos Island, in the archipelago of Bocas Del Toro, on the northern Caribbean coast of Panama. The lodge is sensitively positioned among the convergence of three ecosystems, providing a spectacular opportunity to comfortably immerse yourself in one of the most biologically diverse places on earth. Flights run daily from Panama City to Bocas Town, where you’ll be whisked away on a 25-minute speedboat ride to Tranquilo Bay.

Fish the Wild Western Caribbean Coast with Local Fishermen
The secluded western Caribbean coast of Panama is wild and undeveloped, which is exactly what makes fishing these waters so remarkable. Local fishermen in Bocas del Toro fish year-round for snapper, jacks and barracuda.
