Discover the serenity and mesmerizing landscapes along St. Lucia’s south-western coastline

As St. Lucia’s only resort property with the iconic view of both the Piti and Gros Piton mountains, the iconic Jade Mountain resort is a celebration of scenic beauty and organic architecture. Designed by architect Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort was inspired by the philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature, featuring rugged stone-faced columns, individual bridges and infinity pool sanctuaries (suites) that peak over the island’s majestic coastline.

Since opening in 2006, after the construction with a 100% St Lucian team was complete, Jade Mountain has either made all furniture and furnishings locally, with local labor, or purchased them from local businesses. With a strong focus on keeping as much of their economic benefits in the region as possible, Jade Mountain and her sister property employ 500+ local team members, making them one of the most important employers in the south west region of the island.

From making their water supply independent from the community of Soufriere to the famous 3-walled design of all the sanctuaries which allows for natural ventilation, to sourcing their ingredients as locally as possible, Jade Mountain takes every step towards sustainability that they can to protect their surrounding environment while educating guests about the culture, history and ecology of the local region. Co-founder Karolin Troubetzkoy has worked tirelessly in promoting a transition to more sustainable tourism models through founding/ acting as chairwoman/president of multiple hospitality and conservation associations in the Caribbean and has been instrumental in creating change in the region.
