Within the Wild - Tutka Bay Lodge

Explore the Last Frontier like a true Alaskan.

Owned and operated by Alaskan natives Kirsten and Carl Dixon, Tutka Bay has been a source of wonder and adventure since the day it’s doors opened. The glorious adventure lodge is situated on a 9-mile flord near the historic Herring Islands and the village of Seldovia along the diverse and unique Kachemak Bay. A private sand cove is ringed by ancient rocks that hold archaeological secrets from the past. An adjacent private two-mile hiking trail is located nearby for guest use. Vistors can take an afternoon stroll along a sheltered cove and a peek off of the dock at low tide presents the opportunity to see sunstars, anemones, jellyfish and other sea creatures.
