Navier: Efficiency, Performance, and Sustainability in One Craft Develops a Hydrofoil Craft – USA

Navier introduces a hydrofoiling craft that revolutionizes boating with a remarkable 10-fold efficiency gain over conventional gas-powered vessels, this cutting-edge creation offers eco-conscious electric operation that boasts impressive range, zero emissions, and uncompromised performance and versatility.

Navier’s mission extends beyond convention, aiming to democratize water travel as expansively as roadways. The vision is to construct marine vessels that usher in a new era of clean, efficient waterborne transportation, connecting regions on an unprecedented scale. With Navier Mobility at its helm, this initiative ushers in a future of scalable, eco-friendly, and comfortable transportation. AKUA: Ocean-Farmed Kelp is A Force for Regeneration and Sustainability – USA

AKUA’s co-founder, Courtney Boyd Myers (CBM), discovered the world of regenerative ocean farming through GreenWave, a Connecticut-based non-profit. Recognizing the health benefits of consuming seaweeds and learning about their environmental and economic advantages, Courtney became a fervent advocate of popularizing this virtuous sea vegetable. Kelp, akin to leafy greens like kale, boasts minimal calories and a bounty of vital vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, K, Iodine, Iron, Folate, Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc.

Antioxidant-rich kelp, abundant in carotenoids and flavonoids, combats disease-causing free radicals and oxidative stress, bolstering cardiovascular health and preventing cancer. High in iodine, kelp supports thyroid regulation and metabolism. A compelling comparison reveals that consuming AKUA’s kelp burger for a year leads to 300 tons less carbon emissions in contrast to consuming beef burgers, which accounts for an alarming 660 tons of carbon emissions. AKUA’s commitment to regenerative ocean farming is evident as it has harnessed 80,000 pounds of ocean-farmed kelp since its inception, removing a remarkable 4,000 pounds (2 tons) of carbon from the oceans. As a champion of “zero-input food,” ocean-farmed kelp flourishes without freshwater, arable land, fertilizer, or feed. This novel approach is shifting the narrative from sustainability to regeneration, fostering rejuvenation and healing within our oceans. Through AKUA’s ocean farming, reports of elevated oxygen levels, reduced carbon and nitrogen levels, revived marine life, and enhanced shellfish health stand testament to the transformative impact of regenerative practices.
